Did land in atti mode while slow drifting and flipped it in powdersnow 1 meter
beside me and heared a klick klick frommthe blocked motor and did lift it and was surprised that 1 motor did spinn, so i forced it 5 times upsidedown and always 1 motor was turning fast as it should be ...
So if the drone acidently goes down and we cant see it (as it happend to me 1 week ago) than we must emediatly turn off the motors preventing it to make a forced flip while laying on the back - in my case again in powdersnow, i went direct there and could hear a sound as i came nearer and shut off the motors bevore i arrived there so i did not see that selfflip action while lifted it.

That means if we want to test the selfflip we can put it upsidedown in the water and it will flip in that moment.
If we turn off the motors and put it in as a test will it selfflip when motors turned on in that situation?
I did 50 flights but did not 1 time put it into water as i am not sure if it will be really watertight - any idea how i can safly test that? Some one wrote that he got water inside while his first test - i really want to avoid that.
Should i put it in the bathtub let it float for 1 hour shut off? Or force it under water for 2 minutes?- the membrane is not made to be under water i think...
How would you test it if it would be your and you want to test it responsebly?
Any ideas how to do it well?

It is normal,usually 2 motor trun faster and other 2 is stop,so the drone can realize the function of overwater flip.
And nr. 2 answer:
The waterproof grade of our product is IP67,but before you test,you should check and confirm that the screws、sealsis tight,and the mambrane is clean and entire.
that is all skills,if you do according this,you can force it under the water about 2 minute.
And the drone will self-flip if you land in the water and upside down,that means it will selfflip after you trun on the motors.
But I think if you can,you should record the entire process and detail in the test.so that if unfortunately water inside,it will be a proof.

Today i had first day 2 flights as i did load the mainbattery and made a second flight.
After 10 minutes without getting any alarm like low voltage the drone went down and crashed luckily in powdersnow on a steep mountain.
After the drop in slidet 2 meters down and fell into a small waterpond.
It endet swimming upsidedown and in that "test" it was dry inside.
I have recordet that event with googlecam where you can see there was not 1 alarm and also with onboardcamera.
There was a gopro near by but it did not see the downfall only audio.
Nothing broke luckuly all looks good but as wintertime ends there will not always be powdersow allaround and i am a little consirnd that it could happen again over rocks - that could end bad.
Do you log files ? I could sent them with the video if you tell me how to read them out, did no more long flights after that - did only restart the motors and flew some more seconds to check the baterylevel which was good 11,3 volts... But did not power off and on to test it.
I also found out that only in 200 meters the remote signal was total lost even rth kicked in automaicly for 1 sec.
Could it be that the controller is not able to do more than 2 flights on 1 load?
Even at the rangetest at beginn of 2. Battery the controller was on only max. 20 minutes...
Direct after crash the controller startet with a short beepsignal i think thats a voltagewarning? But the baterysign showed 3 or 4 "IIII" batery 2/3 full...
Also that beep is on helmetcamvideo...
So bevore i do next flight i could read out any stored data for you if there is a datalog.

May I know what is the environment temperature in your side? Pls download the flight log for us to check. Pls read through and make sure you understand it. We just published new firmware for the drone. Pls try to update your drone after sending us the flight log.
Watched both videos, I am not an expert but it seems that the crash has not been caused by a low battery issue. I am more prone to think it has been a RC signal issue; anyway the best thing is to download the log and send it to SwellPro for a deep analisys. On the second video there is always something strange with the control signal; could it be that the mountains themselves are disturbing the signal? Awesome places indeed!
Think the problem was 2 flights with 1 remoteload - did fly there min. 12 batteries never had that issue only difference: 2 flights without reload of remote.
But normal if there is no remotesignal drone should stay and wayt and after short time return to last homepoint... you can see in tje 200 m video that short rth kicked in as there was no stable signal.... and in gps mode there was 13 satelotes and always over 11 volt... so something went total wrong that time and i had luck not to crash on a big stone destroying the glasdome beside the small pond bevore it endet upsidedown in the lake.
Except the logs and your describe ,we also need more information,so that we can do analysis with the logs. 1.Crash time and place(best if you have the screen shoot by googles map)
3.How did you fly the drone in that time(the way of you operate the joystics)
Drone was in gps mode, did fly slowly forward cyrcles around the small sea as i did know the battery is empty soon,
Was waiting for low battery alarm to kick in and land within 10 seconds after as always.
I send you 2 videos from komplete flight, the videos was made with your videogoggle, it made 2 files becouse the first was to long.
If you tell me about,it will come the result at very soon.
It was first time i did 2 flights without loading the controller in between.
It was the first time i did a full flight with the goggles on all time.
It was the first time that i heared a silent beep from the remote - but that startet after the crash!
And there is another first time - i startet the controller in atti mode then the drone and the googles, i startet to record on goggles and drone waiting for better gps than i realised that atti is on - so i turned remote off- the drone record stopped, i switched to gps and restarted the controller, then i started the internal camera. After 6minutes i wanted to change the cameraposition and turned 2 x the cam off and on not pressing the right button - as i had goggles on...
Can send high qualityvideo from that flights safed dronecamera footage too
And i have full lengh helmetcamera video with external microphone - there you can see the recovery and the crashsite and hear the silent beeps of the controller and you see the short flight after the crash where i test the voltage(was 11,3v in flight) and if all is ok.
Also you can hear the motorsounds while the crash but you dont see the crash becouse the cam was positioneted on the floor as i did wear the goggles full flighttime.
Did send logfiles and videofiles to swellpro, they are analysing it
